Mama Taraba finally joins Atiku in PDP, gives reasons


Daily Trust reports that Alhassan popularly known as Mama Taraba made this revelation during a stakeholders meeting of her former party, United Democratic party (UDP),

Mama Taraba was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress while she served as minister under the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

At the stakeholder’s meeting, it was disclosed that an opinion poll of the UDP conducted after the 2019 general elections indicated that members of the party from 168 wards in 16 local government areas of the state agreed to decamp to PDP.

She said she had no choice but to accept the decision of the party and join the PDP.

While serving as minister, Alhassan caused a stir when she was caught on video saying she would support Atiku Abubakar presidential candidacy.

Meanwhile, Buhari said it would have been traumatic if he had lost the tribunal.

The tribunal had dismissed the petition filed by Atiku of the PDP on Wednesday, September 11.

Injury rules Eden Hazard out of LaLiga opener

The Belgian international sustained a thigh injury that is expected to rule him out of action for approximately three weeks and will cause him to miss the game in Vigo. Eden Hazard will not play in Real Madrid's LaLiga 2019-20 season opener in Vigo.
