* Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This will reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

So before doing the deep reset, it is adviceable to save any vital data on a Notepad or you might lose them. Examples: phonebooks, Applications etc. In both case, the phone will ask you for a confirmation and you need to enter a security code (by default all the security code is 12345 but if you have your own customized Security code then that is the one to use).

Files and applications stored on the E: (M.Card) drive will not be affected by these sequences. On Series 60 phones such as (N6600/ N6620/Nokia7610), the sequence is slightly different. follow this procedure to reset it.

* power the phone off, (switch off the phone) * press and keep down the Green Key/Call + 3 + power on the phone. You are going to hold this four keys at once, the Answer/Call button Key, the 3 button key, the * key and the Power. While holding this three keys then Power on your Phone, which is the fourth key * Release the keys when the formatting starts, you will see the word formatting on your screen. Then you should know that your phone has started booting.

If you have A Nokia Symbian Phone or Any Symbian Phone and it is Not Booting, then you need to hard or Deep Reset it. It will automatically start working normal again.
